Once logged into a machine, position the tape to where you wish to read or write data to the tape drive. Then read or write your data to the tape drive. For a list of tape drive commands, select either Sun or IBM.
When finished, remove your tape from the tape drive, and logout of the machine you connected to inorder to access the tape drive.
